| Industrial Fisheries Alumni Association was formed in 1982 by the alumni of the post graduate department of Industrial Fisheries, Cochin University of Science and Technology. The department of Industrial Fisheries was elevated to the School of Industrial Fisheries in the year of 1995. The alumni have made significant impact in their chosen profession in India and abroad, notably in the seafood and food industry, aquaculture, banking sector, leading universities, fisheries research institutions, ministry of agriculture, central and state government establishments - CIFT, CMFRI, CIFE, IFP, MPEDA, EIA, NABARD, CIFNET, Aquaculture Authority of India, MATSYAFED, ADAK, Civil Service, Politics, NGOs, Chamber of Commerce, Retail Chains, Feed, Research and other fields. |
